Web Wow Wednesday - Green Lunch Box GIVEAWAY!!!

*** I have not received any compensation for the following review and giveaway. I own one EasyLunchBox bag and three sets of containers that I purchased before being asked to participate in this promotional giveaway. Remarkable because of how I'm about to rave over this product but, still it's true! ***

Loving your workboxes? What if I told you there was an affordable, green option for lunches out there that could make feeding your kids lunches just as fun and easy and a chance to win a set for FREE? I've posted about EasyLunchBoxes.com before but I, seriously, cannot say enough great things about them! I attempted my first "bento" style lunch this week and, honestly, it was easier and faster than the usual fair thanks to these wonderful containers!

My son's preK had a garden theme so what you see are turkey slices cut into flower shapes with the "scraps" rolled into roses, peas for grass and cheese stems and leaves, blackberry "rocks" and pretzel "logs". He loved it and it really took just minutes! The convenience of having ONE container with separate compartments meant all I really had to do was fill them. It took me longer (maybe 2 minutes, tops) to cut the cheese and turkey than anything else. Then I just popped everything in the fridge until lunchtime!

Unless you've been living under a rock lately (if so, can you share it's location? I'd love the peace you must find there!), you have seen all the talk about "green" products, the unhealthiness of school lunches and probably even the craze about bento style lunches. Bento lunches are gaining lots of popularity and it's easy to see why: they focus on healthier food choices, use reusable containers, incorporate eye-catching designs that appeal to kids, and they make portion control super-simple! EasyLunchBoxes can be your answer to ALL of that!

See those prices beneath the photo? I have priced MANY different bento options and none came anywhere close in price to these. Because of that, I admit, I was a little curious about the quality and safety of the plastic used for the containers. I didn't need to at all. ELB uses only FDA-approved, food-safe polypropylene that is microwave/dishwasher safe. It's also much sturdier than it looks in the site pics. See those clear lids that look similar to the flimsy ones on disposable plasticware? You can't even really bend them because they are so tough!

You're a bento-newbie, you say? Or even bento-clueless? I'm pretty new to it myself but not to fear! Check out Lunch In A Box, Just Bento or Muffin Tin Mom for some wonderful ideas and tips. Better yet, head on over to Kawaii Bento Club's site to check out their upcoming Bento Summer School online class! Just Bento also has some really nice meal planners featuring a special section for bento lunches.

Oh, but I'm leaving out the best part: EasyLunchBoxes is letting me giveaway a complete set! That's one insulated lunch bag in the color of your choice and one set of 4 containers! Here are the rules and how to win:

* EasyLunchBoxes prefers to offer the giveaway for US and Canadian customers only, in order to keep their shipping costs down.

* EasyLunchBoxes reserves the right to disqualify a winner if they have won or received a free product from them within the past 3 months.

* (1 entry - required) Leave a comment telling me what you like about EasyLunchBoxes and what color of bag (black, dark red, olive, aqua, or purple) you would pick. You can see the bag colors at EasyLunchBoxes.

* (1 entry - optional) Link to this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter and leave a separate comment with a link to the post(s).

* (1 entry - optional) Be a public follower or become a new public follower of my blog and leave a separate comment telling me that.

Oooo. My husband and I are both trying to get healthier, so we bring bag lunches. The problem is, everything is disorganized and my sandwich always gets smushed! No one likes a smushed pbj =] The Aqua one is pretty! That's the one I'd want =]

these are great! I am always looking for nice containers to pack lunches in. It is hard to pick, but my color choice would be either black or aqua.

I am so excited that I found your giveaway and your blog! I never even knew these things existed! I am SO hooked: I have to pack 3 lunches every morning, two for adults and one for a toddler... This would make life much simpler! I would so love the aqua: would work for me or hubs!

Thanks!

I love that there is no trash with these lunches. Currently I have baggies for the sandwich, baggies for the snack and baggies for the fruit. This would save not only our environment but my money as well! And I'd like the dark red one so that any of my kids could use it.

I love the blue bag and the containers are awesome! It would be nice for my husband to take healthy meals to work instead the snack he takes with him now. Thanks!
